Liv is a community musician, creative practitioner and trainer, and is a Co-Director of Music for Wellbeing CIC.
She works with many different groups of people, from children in the early years and their families, community singing groups, and people with long term health conditions, in particular people living with dementia and people with respiratory conditions. She is passionate about the potential of participating in music to change the lives of individuals, and therefore communities.
As well as holding the Certificate in Music Workshop Skills from Goldsmiths College, she was part of the first cohort to be awarded the Level 4 Certificate for Music Educators: Early Childhood in 2018. She is currently undertaking doctoral studies in intergenerational music within a care home setting at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Liv plays the cello, highland bagpipes, ukulele and sax, and uses singing in her community music work.
