Laura is a Community Musician and Neurologic Music Therapist living in Bath. Laura leads Sound Lab sessions for Evolve Music alongside Naomi and Micky. Her approach to music making is relational and humanistic, supporting people to discover and explore their strengths and abilities in a supportive musical environment.
Laura plays the flute, piano, guitar and an array of percussion instruments! She also enjoys singing and using music technology and accessible instruments. Laura studied Music at the University of Surrey and Music Therapy at UWE Bristol.
Outside of Evolve Music, Laura also runs the Bath Aphasia Choir, a choir for stroke survivors who have difficulties with communication and their loved ones, various music therapy services for people with neurological conditions and works as a Creative Attachment Therapist with adoptive families and children who have experienced early trauma.
