Fundraiser to Keep Free Music Sessions for Dads & Kids Going Strong
🎶 Support Dads Rock This Summer!
Evolve Music is excited to launch our summer fundraising campaign to keep “Dads Rock” alive and free across the South West!
This summer we’re aiming to raise £2,500 to sustain our beloved Saturday morning sessions, where dads and their young children come together to sing, play, and connect via music.
Why Dads Rock matters
-
Boosting confidence & connection: These sessions give dads a safe space to bond, share, and regain confidence—especially important for those who haven’t attended a parenting group before.
-
Fighting isolation: By bringing dads into community settings, we build support networks that enrich their well-being—and their children’s.
-
Expert-led experiences: Each week, skilled community musicians guide the group with playful, high-quality music-making.
-
Keeping it free: With thanks to our funders, there’s no cost to attend—and we’re committed to making sure everyone can take part, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Where Dads Rock thrives
These heartwarming sessions currently run in Barton Hill, Southmead, South Bristol, Frome, Radstock, Hartcliffe—and Worle, which particularly needs support to continue into the autumn term.
“Dads Rock was a bridge to help me get out and talk to people again… Within ten minutes everyone was chatting… It has been a confidence‑building tool.” — A participant
