Our Explorers sessions are full of singing, movement, percussion, socialising & fun! An open group for families with children under 5 years old, Explorers sessions run weekly during term-time, supporting all aspects of your child’s natural development through interactive activities that are perfect for both babies and toddlers.

About Explorers

Through a range of singing, stories and games, music is explored together in a hands-on, creative and engaging way.

The sessions are built around a new theme each half-term, developing your child’s knowledge of a range of subjects and encouraging them to explore the world around them. We have previously gone on an underwater adventure, travelled to outer space and time-travelled back to the land of the dinosaurs!

We use parachutes, scarves, bubbles and other resources to incorporate creative movement into our songs and games, which help your child to develop their fine motor skills and to follow directions.

The programme is delivered by highly skilled musicians and provides a safe space for children to explore real instruments. We also provide a space for free play, allowing your child to explore the instruments and resources, which develops their creativity and imagination.

We encourage families to stick around for a hot drink and biscuit after each session to meet and socialise with other parents.
