Donating Equipment to Evolve Music
We’re always grateful for offers of musical instruments and equipment they help us bring music-making to more children, young people, and communities across the South West
How it works
To make sure donations are safe, suitable, and used effectively, we follow our Donated Music Equipment Policy. This means:
– We welcome donations that directly support the delivery of our creative programmes.
– All items are recorded, including condition, estimated value, and donor details.
– We prioritise equipment that enhances our delivery, expands access, or replaces outdated or broken items.
– We may reallocate items to programme participants, or auction/sell them to raise funds if they are unsuitable for operational use.
– As a small charity, we have limited storage, so we can’t always retain donated items long-term.
– Any funds raised through the sale of donated equipment are used to support Evolve Music’s charitable work, unless otherwise agreed with the donor.
If you have an instrument or piece of equipment you’d like to donate, please get in touch first so we can check if it’s something we can accept.
