Plum Grosvenor-Stevenson appointed Executive Director

Evolve Music is delighted to announce that Plum Grosvenor-Stevenson has been appointed as our new Executive Director, taking up the role in early 2026.

Plum brings a decade of experience in arts leadership, strategic development and community-focused music and arts programmes across the South West. He joins Evolve Music from Endelienta Arts, where he has served as Artistic Director and General Manager, leading the organisation through a period of significant growth, increased youth engagement and organisational transformation. 

Plum’s experience spans strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, organisational development, community engagement and artistic programming. He has developed cultural strategies for partners including Gloucester Docks and South East Cornwall Arts and built partnerships across councils, cultural organisations, schools and community groups.

His background includes roles with Wales Millennium Centre, Assembleth Theatre, Bristol Circus City and Playwell Productions, as well as extensive producing work and arts leadership training. He holds a Master’s degree in Arts Management from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, specialising in organisational leadership, EDI, finance, arts education and audience development.

Plum will work closely with the team and Board across early 2026 to ensure a smooth transition from outgoing Executive Director Annette Burghes, who led Evolve Music through a period of major growth and innovation, significantly strengthening the charity’s position within the South West’s cultural landscape. Annette is taking up a new strategic post as Music Hub Manager for the Arts Council England funded Octagon Music Hub, the Hub Lead Organisation (HLO)  for Somerset and Dorset.
